Trigger Point Therapy Foundation

In this intensive, hands-on training, you will learn about:



Learning outcomes


Upon successful completion of the Trigger Point Therapy Foundation course, participants will be able to:


  1. Identify and Understand Muscle phisiology and Trigger Points: Recognize the locations and functions of trigger points within various muscle groups and their impact on overall body function.
  2. Demonstrate Palpation Skills: Effectively palpate and evaluate approximately 64 muscles, enhancing assessment and treatment techniques.
  3. Apply Myofascial Release Techniques: Utilize appropriate myofascial release methods to alleviate muscular tension and improve mobility.
  4. Implement PNF Stretching Methods: Integrate Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation techniques into practice, promoting flexibility and preventing injuries.
  5. Execute Deep Tissue Techniques: Perform deep tissue massage techniques with confidence, addressing client-specific needs and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
  6. Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate trigger point therapy and associated techniques for various client scenarios.
  7. Evaluate Outcomes: Assess the effectiveness of the treatments provided and make necessary adjustments to enhance client satisfaction and results.


Entry level


Participants are required to meet the following prerequisites:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or a higher qualification.

Cancellation policy


If an attendee cancels their course registration more than 14 days before the course begins, they will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid, minus a $70.00 administration fee.
